Workshop Lessons

In these situations Ross takes a group of players collectively and instructs as one group.  In this setting tuition is very informal and many demands are placed on Ross ranging from playing techniques to music discussions. Current workshops which he is involved with is the Glasgow and Falkirk fiddlers where he takes both the beginners and advanced classes.  Ross's success here has also earned him additional private tuition from pupils within this group.  Ross was also involved in the recent Lomond Folk Festival, where he conducted fiddle workshops.

Private Lessons

On these occasions Ross can instruct in a one to one situation, which can take place at a mutual agreed venue, either at Ross's home or at the pupils home.  Currently Ross has many private pupils from all age groups and abilities.  If you are interested in just playing for fun or for more formal reasons, lessons can be arranged accordingly.  In addition to the one to one arrangement Ross is also currently contracted to teach traditional fiddle playing at a local school which forms part of the school curriculum and as a consequence he takes many of the pupils for individual private tuition.
